We are very proud to be one of a select handful stores in all of North America being able to offer professionally tanned Reindeer Hides and seat cushions! These hides and cushions are imported directly by us from Lapland, which is the region of northern Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, and Finland).

Use your reindeer hide seat cushion out in the snow during a picknic or use it indoors on your favorite chair. You will receive a seat cushion similar to the ones pictured here. If you want a lighter one or a darker one, or one with both light and dark colors you can request it when you place your order. If no request is made we will send you one similar to the ones in the picture. Approximate measurements: 15 in (38cm) x 11 in (28cm)

These reindeer hide seat cushions are sustainably harvested from north of the arctic circle. In this region reindeer are abundant and provide an important source of income for the Sami people, who are indigenous to the region of Lapland. By purchasing an authentic Reindeer hide seat cushion from the Lapland region you contribute to the Sami economy. You help create and sustain a market. These animals are harvested not only for its skin, but for food, for clothing, and for tools and accessories from the antlers, etc.
